I really do love #takkies #tekkies #sneakers or whatever you want to call it.
Like many, Saturdays (during the 80's and 90's) I would hit the "streets" in search of #kicks nobody had. Hours and hours of just walking and browsing and having the Ballie who owned the shop, checking you out because he was sure he saw you at half past this morning and now it's 2 in the afternoon now.
I doubt that those #shoes would be valued at a Mil, but they made me feel like a millionaire on my #voetebike and some of them were rare like 2 pairs of Onitsuka Tiger's. Someone actually bought a pair of the #onitsukatiger takkies (the journey of the ASICS brand started off humble) off my feet and I had already been wearing them for a year. I made a #profit off those (300%), but maybe my million Dollar collection could've started there like this one?
